Kaif Ahmed achieved three Bs in his A-levels and was seeking a learning path that would provide him with more learning opportunities than that available at a traditional university. Today, Kaif is thriving as a Level 3 Data Technician Apprentice at Global Banking School, taking confident steps towards a career in the dynamic field of data analysis.

Prioritising real-world skills

For Kaif, choosing an apprenticeship over university was a deliberate decision. He was determined to gain real-world skills while continuing his education, rather than focusing solely on theory. “An apprenticeship allowed me to apply my knowledge to real-world scenarios, which is exactly what I was looking for,” Kaif says. His role at Global Banking School (GBS) provided an ideal environment for him to learn, contribute and grow professionally.

Kaif has developed a strong technical skillset over the course of his time at GBS.
